The day has arrived! We have now integrated the ability for you to cast your nomination ballot for INBA officers online, through the INBA website. In time for the final ballot, we'll also have the ability for you to cast your vote on the final ballot online, through the same method.

This is an introduction to what is going to continue to be built out as a new member area on the INBA website, and also guidelines for setting up your account and voting in this election.

To start, you'll need to set up your own INBA website account. Under the MEMBERSHIP menu, go to MEMBER LOGIN.

At the next screen, you'll see a place to login. Since you don't have an account yet - you'll need to register for one. Click on register and enter your desired username and email address.

At this point, your account will need to be verified and approved. We'll check your name (please use your real INBA membership name when registering) against the current member list .. if you're a current member, your account will be approved and the system will send you a password. You can come back and log in with that password, and even change it if you wish - but we recommend that you keep the secure password that is sent to you. If you do change it to something else, we recommend at least a 14 digit password with a combination of letters and numbers.

After you've logged in with your new username and password, you'll notice that there's a new menu on the left hand side of the website -

Currently, the menu gives you the option to view your online profile and update it, and see the election nomination form and candidate letters to date for this year's election. As we build more features, this menu will expand to include things like being able to download a digital version of the INBA newsletter.

Go ahead and click on Election Nominations. You'll see a form very similar to the paper version in the newsletter.

You can fill this out with your nominations and click submit. Only one submission will be counted per membership, and only your first submission will count. If you have a family membership, you should register for two accounts on the website with the names of the family members included in your membership. If for some reason you have an error while nominating (accidentally clicking submit before you've filled out the form completely, etc.), please send an email to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. The nominations are stored in a secure online location where they are kept until the nominations are closed and sent to the Election Committee Chair.
